I had a great experience from the moment I was admitted until I left the hospital. I felt as if I was checking in to a 5 –star hotel more than a hospital.
The person from admissions made me feel at home and provided me with all the information needed during my stay and gave me a welcome bag containing a pair of slippers, 10 tickets for complimentary parking for my guests, and a brochure with information about the hospital, meals, visit hours, my rights as a patient, etc, etc. Then that same person walked me all the way upstairs to meet the nurse that was going to prep me for the surgery. I was very nervous being this is the first time I had surgery but the nurses immediately put me at ease. I loved the fact that they were constantly asking if I was ok or if I had a question and before they did something they would always explain what they were about to do and why. Everybody from the Medical Value Travel department, admissions staff, nurses, doctors, etc were extremely professional, polite and displayed a genuine concern for my wellbeing.
I would absolutely recommend CIMA hospital!!! The Hospital is big enough but not humongous that you would feel as if you were just a number. I felt right at home and the nurses responded immediately to all my questions and concerns and on top of everything they did it with a warm smile which is very difficult to find in many hospitals. I personally want to give a big THANK YOU to Mrs. Norma Villarreal from the Medical Value Travel Department. She played an integral part in my decision to have surgery at CIMA Monterrey. Being this my first surgery I was extremely nervous and had tons of questions which she answered promptly and gladly. Her attention to detail was exceptional and she was with me every step of the way. She welcomed me the day I arrived for my consultation with the doctor and she also went to visit me as soon as I got out of the OR. The day I was checking out of the hospital there was a little miscommunication with the cashiers department and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Mrs. Villarreal there on Sunday making sure everything had been resolved to my satisfaction.
