SUSAN H., COLORADO
I will certainly consider returning for any needed procedures which my insurance does not cover (as was the case with this surgery)
This has been as interesting and pleasant an experience as could have been possible. Everyone made what could have been a frightening experience perfectly comfortable. Admission was quick, the nursing staff was professional and efficient and kind and I felt in good hands. It was enjoyable trying on and my little bit of Spanish and mixing it with the nurses bit of English understand each other! Dr. Zapata is obviously very experience and knowledgeable, and was also kind. I felt at ease with having him do my surgery. The two others Drs., who came to see me in the preoperative room, were also very nice. Dr. Valdez and a woman anesthesiologist – I’ll save mentioning the Value Travel Department for the last section. I would certainly encourage who cannot afford procedures in the U.S.A. to come to a CIMA Hospital. The level of care, professionalism, knowledge and personal treatment are at least the equivalent of medical care in the US (in some cases better your nurses answer the call buttons immediately, whereas in the U.S.A. I have waited and waited, and have had to send a relative to get the needed help. First, my gratitude to Dr. Zapata and the OR staff for a safe surgery. I am so glad my wait is over and I can concentrate on getting healthy! Thank you also for having such dedicated nurses. They helped make the comfort level good. Last, the Travel Team, Sarah, in the U.S.A AND Karla and Norma are absolute jewels. They showed so much caring about me personally, and never failed to ask if there was anything they could do to make my experience better, or if I needed something. Muchísimas Gracias!
