CIMA Medical Value Travel

I will certainly consider returning for any needed procedures which my insurance does not cover (as was the case with this surgery)

I used the CIMA Hospital for installing a lap band. I found the whole process of a “medical vacation” handled by BridgeHealth to be well planned and well executed. Marisa and her team were very professional, they kept in touch with me and kept me informed on the whole process.

Everyone was very nice; hospital was clean, Norma, Nico, Dr. Zapata, Carla was very nice, above and beyond my expectations. 

My nurse was very attentive and caring. My doctor explained everything very well. He was kind, courteous and respectful, I look forward to having Dr. Humberto Sanchez as my surgeon and feel he will take excellent care of me. The cafeteria ladies went out of their way for me and the food was very good. Dr. Gerardo was excellent and thorough.

For all the departments, excellent service. I especially am grateful for Angela’s attention to every detail of my stay. She truly went above and beyond in her care of me and my mother.

My experience was as a mother accompanying a grown daughter for elective bariatric surgery not covered by her US Insurance. I had done a great deal of research and my husband, who works in CR, personal inquiries about the surgery and the choice of CIMA Hospital before proposing the experience to my daughter.

I was afforded with above average attention and personal experience with the staff. The facilities were very modern and clean. The driver and Norma met me at the airport and were extremely friendly and informational.

I was very nervous about the procedure especially being performed in a foreign country. My fears soon vanished when, at the airport I was met by an English speaking representative of CIMA hospital. She was with me through every procedure, checking process and even during the surgery. But it was perhaps the post surgery care that was most impressive.

CIMA Hospital was a place feeling like home. I was very well treated. Everyone was very helpful and very nice. My doctor was the best person that ever met.

I was picked up at the airport, taken to a nice hotel and I was treated with a tremendous level of courtesy and professionalism. It is entirely possible that I have received better care here that I would have in the U.S. and I certainly received it a lot faster for better price.

I was greeted at the airport by CIMA. My ride took me to my hotel and took care of everything for me. Since I do not speak Spanish this was very helpful. I was given an itinerary as to what my stay would be like.

Everyone was very polite and helpful. The staff were cheerful and caring. The physician and anesthesiologist were friendly, courteous and caring and took the trouble to ask many questions and to explain the procedure.

I had a great experience from the moment I was admitted until I left the hospital. I felt as if I was checking in to a 5 –star hotel more than a hospital.

Excellent care, very clean. Everyone very friendly. Dr. Wolberg excellent. He knew my case and history. I would contact Dr. Wolberg for all my future surgeries.

I felt very well taken care of. Angela, the coordinator was excellent, made herself available and guided me through the whole process. This was important especially because everything is new and unknown and because I don’t speak Spanish.
